ENUGU—The Enugu State Police Command, Tuesday, paraded a total of 25 criminal suspects for various offences ranging from armed robbery, cultism and kidnapping.
The State Commissioner of Police,CP, Emmanuel Ojukwu while briefing journalists before parading the suspects said the 25 suspects being paraded, were arrested at different locations and days within Enugu and its environs.
Nine of the suspected robbers who were later identified as members of Eiye cult group, were arrested by Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, operatives of the command on July 7, 2016, at the residence of one Sunday Noble at Bricks House Independence Layout Enugu where they were allegedly celebrating their Eiye cult day.
